Quantum™ Osteosupportive™ patented thread is designed to load the bone under compression when vertical forces of mastication are applied.
Flat inner diameter at the bottom of the thread and flat outer surfaces at the tip of the thread also provide compressive loading forces when lateral forces of mastication are applied. This prevents shear forces from occurring, which are known to cause bone breakdown.
